Advanced Parental Control FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
1. How can I control or limit my child's Internet usage?
APC provides you with the flexibility to limit some or all Internet usage. If you want to allow your children to surf the web but NOT chat, then you would simply restrict access to their messenger program(s). If you want to allow them to surf the web but restrict messenger use, that is possible too. There are a variety of ways you can limit use of the Internet with APC.

2. Can I customize access privileges for each user?
Yes, just highlight the user you would like to work with and set their computer and program restrictions.

3. What programs on the computer can I limit access to?
You can limit access to absolutely any program. It doesn't matter what exe the blocked program launches. APC can be told to block absolutely any process. Keep in mind that programs such as Antivirus or Firewall programs play a key role in the operation of your computer so you may want to be careful as to what you limit or restrict.

4. Will my kids know APC is running on the computer?
Yes, the first time they receive a message indicating that their computer or program time is about to expire they will realize that you are controlling their computer time. Aside from the messages there is no further indication that APC is running on the computer.

5. Can my kids stop APC from working or get around it?
No, APC was designed and developed with this in mind. Your kids will not even be able to see it running and will not be able to circumvent any of the time restrictions. You can change the exe name of the program to be whatever you wish inside the APC Options screen.
